Dual 750 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies share the load and can be replaced without shutdown. The 2U rack form factor uses redundant hot-swap fans that adjust speed to thermal demand. iDRAC8 Enterprise provides remote power and thermal monitoring over a dedicated interface.

PERC H730 controller with battery-backed cache

The H730 1 GB mini controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through for software-defined storage. Battery-backed write cache protects in-flight data during power loss.
