The system targets organisations that need high core density without moving to a larger form factor. It is not suited for buyers who want more storage bays than the eight 2.5-inch slots provide.

Thermals noise and 1100 W redundant supply

Dual 1100 W redundant power supplies share the load, keeping the platform running if one unit fails. The 2U airflow path is designed for the 14-core CPUs and the eight-drive backplane, so fan speeds stay moderate under typical virtualised workloads. Acoustic output remains within data-centre norms for a rack-mounted server of this class. The hardware does not address buyers who need silent office-tower operation.

iDRAC9 Enterprise rails bezel and cords

The integrated iDRAC9 Enterprise module provides full out-of-band management, remote console and lifecycle automation without extra licensing. Included sliding rails, a front bezel without an LCD panel and power cords let the unit go straight into a standard rack. Eight PCIe Gen 3 slots remain available for additional NICs, GPUs or storage controllers. The bundle does not help buyers who require an optical drive or a front-panel display.
