SATA throughput ceiling

The installed H730P controller and backplane operate over 12 Gbit/s SAS lanes, yet every fitted drive uses the SATA 6 Gbit/s interface. Sequential throughput will therefore top out at the SATA link speed rather than the controller’s maximum, limiting peak bandwidth for the current SSD set.

24-bay 2.5" chassis constraint
