PowerEdge R750 2U server

The Dell PowerEdge R750 is a 2U rack server built for enterprise workloads. It ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4310 processors, each with 12 cores running at 2.1 GHz and a 3.3 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 256 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across eight 32 GB modules. Twenty-four 960 GB SATA solid-state drives provide high-capacity flash storage.

Build integration needs

The chassis occupies 2U of rack space and includes ready rails and a front bezel for immediate installation. Dual 1400 W platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant hot-swap power. The PERC H755 RAID controller with 8 GB NV cache and battery supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the 24 drive bays. A Broadcom 5720 quad-port 1 GbE OCP 3.0 network adapter handles connectivity. Thirty-two DDR4 slots allow future memory expansion up to the platform limit.

Bundled management and accessories

iDRAC 9 Enterprise enables comprehensive remote management, monitoring and automation without requiring physical access. The included rails and bezel simplify rack mounting and physical security. The H755 controller's battery-backed cache protects in-flight data during unexpected power loss.
