The Dell PowerEdge R760 is a 2U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 5418Y processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with a 3.8 GHz turbo frequency and 24 cores. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5-4800 ECC registered memory across 32 DIMM slots, supporting up to 8 TB total capacity. Redundant 1400 W platinum power supplies

Two hot-swap 1400 W platinum-efficiency power supplies provide redundant power for continuous operation. The 2U chassis uses forced-air cooling designed for the installed dual-processor configuration and sixteen 2.5-inch drive bays. Acoustic profiles are managed by the integrated iDRAC9 firmware according to workload and inlet temperature. Power draw scales with CPU utilisation, memory population and storage activity across the supported SAS, SATA and NVMe devices.

Sixteen hot-swap bays and front PERC H965i

The front panel holds sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays with eight trays included, served by a front-mounted PERC H965i controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for SAS, SATA and NVMe drives. An OCP 3.0 slot carries the Broadcom 5720 quad-port 1 GbE adapter, leaving additional PCIe Gen5 slots available for expansion. ReadyRails sliding rails and a front bezel are included for standard rack mounting. Buyers who need more than eight drive trays or a different network speed must source those parts separately.
