Dual Xeon workstation tower

The DELL Precision T7810 arrives as a new tower workstation with two Intel Xeon E5-2603 v3 processors, each running at 1.6 GHz across six cores. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 2133 ECC memory and a 1 TB 7.2 K SATA drive are installed. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-loaded and a 685 W 90 % efficient supply powers the chassis.

Expansion layout and connectivity

Five full-length and one half-length slots sit behind the front panel, including two PCIe x16 Gen 3 positions for additional graphics or compute cards. The Intel C612 chipset provides six SATA 6 Gb/s ports, two of which are reserved for optical drives, while Intel RSTe enables software RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10. A single Intel I217 gigabit Ethernet port handles wired networking and a DVD-RW drive occupies the slimline bay.

Memory ceiling and graphics limit

Four DIMM slots per processor support up to 256 GB of total DDR4 ECC RDIMM capacity, giving ample headroom for larger datasets. The factory-fitted NVIDIA NVS 310 with 512 MB is suited to multi-display office work but lacks the memory and compute resources for modern 3D rendering or GPU-accelerated workloads. Two internal 3.5-inch bays and one external 5.25-inch bay remain available for further storage expansion.
