Precision T7910 Xeon workstation

The Dell Precision T7910 is a tower workstation built around a single Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4 eight-core processor running at 2.1 GHz with Hyperthreading for 16 virtual cores. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and a 500 GB 7.2K RPM SATA hard drive. The Nvidia NVS 310 graphics card provides 512 MB of video memory and dual DisplayPort outputs. No operating system is included.

The bundled Nvidia NVS 310 adds two DisplayPort connectors for multi-monitor productivity without consuming a full-size PCIe slot. The tower chassis uses tool-less latches for side-panel removal, giving straightforward access to the 16 DIMM slots and drive bays. At 21.5 x 8.5 x 17.2 inches and 50 lbs the unit is heavy, so two people or a lift aid are advisable when positioning it. The LSI SAS 3008 controller supports software RAID 0, 1 and 10 across up to eight drives, but RAID 5 requires an optional PCIe controller.
