Charcoal Walnut full-tower case

The Fractal Design North XL is a steel ATX full-tower finished in charcoal black with a walnut front panel and dark-tinted tempered-glass side panel. It accepts ATX, E-ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and ships without a power supply. Three 140 mm Aspect PWM fans are pre-installed at the front. Removable front, top and side panels simplify assembly and maintenance.

Drive capacity and GPU clearance

Two internal 3.5-inch bays and two dedicated 2.5-inch bays are provided, plus two additional 2.5-inch positions on the included drive trays. Seven expansion slots support full-length add-in cards. A graphics card up to 413 mm fits with a front fan in place, while a 420 mm front radiator reduces maximum GPU length to 380 mm. Front dust filters help keep the interior clean.

Front I/O and cooling limits

The front panel offers two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port and combined headphone/microphone jacks. Fan mounts total seven 120 mm or six 140 mm positions: three 120/140 mm at the front, three 120 mm or two 140/180 mm at the top, and one 120/140 mm at the rear. Radiator support reaches 420/360 mm at the front, 280/360 mm at the top, and 120/140 mm at the rear with the side bracket lowered.
