The GIGABYTE H470 HD3 is an ATX motherboard built for 10th Generation Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors in the LGA 1200 package. It also supports Pentium and Celeron CPUs using the same socket. The board provides four 288-pin DDR4 slots with a maximum capacity of 128 GB running in dual-channel mode.
6+2 Phase Digital VRM with Lower RDS(on) MOSFETs
A direct 6+2 phase digital PWM design uses Lower RDS(on) MOSFETs to deliver precise power to the CPU under sustained load. Smart Fan 5 employs multiple temperature sensors and hybrid fan headers with Fan Stop to keep thermals controlled during extended workloads. Anti-sulfur resistors add long-term durability to the power circuitry.
Dual M.2 Slots and PCIe 3.0 Expansion Check
Two M.2 Socket 3 connectors accept 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 form-factor drives with PCIe x4/x2 or SATA interfaces. One slot is wired for Intel Optane Memory acceleration only. The board also offers one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots and a legacy PCI slot for add-in cards.
