Socket LGA 1151 Z390 micro-ATX board
This GIGABYTE motherboard fits micro-ATX cases and accepts Intel 8th and 9th generation Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron processors in the LGA 1151 package. The Intel Z390 chipset provides a 10+2 phase digital VRM and an integrated I/O shield. It targets builders who want a compact platform with full overclocking features.
Four DDR4 slots up to 64 GB dual channel
Four 288-pin slots support DDR4 at 2666, 2400 and 2133 MHz in dual-channel mode for a maximum of 64 GB. That capacity handles gaming, content creation and heavy multitasking with headroom to spare. Only workloads that demand more than 64 GB or require ECC memory will outgrow this configuration.
Single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot for graphics
One full-length PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot runs at x16 electrical, so a discrete graphics card receives the full bandwidth the chipset provides. Two additional x1 slots and two M.2 sockets (one PCIe x4, one SATA/PCIe) remain for add-in cards and storage. If a build needs multiple x16 GPUs this board cannot accommodate them.
