The HP ProLiant DL160 Gen9 is a 1U rack system with dual eight-core Xeon E5-2630v3 processors at 2.4GHz, 64GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory and two 146GB 15K SAS drives on a Smart HBA H240 controller supporting RAID 0, 1 and 5. Redundant hot-swap 550W power supplies and eight 2.5-inch SFF bays complete the chassis. It ships without an operating system.

Buyers who need more than 64GB of RAM, more than eight drive bays or a different RAID feature set should look elsewhere. The Matrox G200 graphics subsystem is limited to basic console output and does not support GPU compute workloads.
