The eight SFF bays are populated, leaving no room for more drives without a media bay or extra bay kit.

The installed H240 Smart HBA manages the eight 146 GB 15K SAS drives and supports RAID 0, 1 and 5 across 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA links. This controller choice determines the RAID levels and drive protocols available without adding a separate RAID card. If a different RAID level or a hardware RAID cache is required, the H240 would need to be replaced.
