The HP ProLiant DL160 Gen9 is a 1U rack server built for general-purpose workloads in space-constrained environments. It ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2650 v3 ten-core processor at 2.3 GHz and 32 GB of DDR4 memory. Redundant hot-swap power supplies support continuous operation.

The installed processor provides ten physical cores and twenty threads with hyper-threading. The chassis supports up to two processors for a maximum of thirty-six total cores, but only one is populated in this configuration. Memory runs at speeds dependent on the fitted CPU.

Smart HBA H240 with two SAS drives

The Smart HBA H240 controller delivers 12 Gb/s SAS and 6 Gb/s SATA connectivity with RAID 0, 1 and 5 support. Two 1 TB 7.2 K 2.5-inch SAS drives are installed in the eight-bay SFF cage. No operating system is included.
