Dense 1U rack server

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 packs a six-core Xeon E5-2620 v3 at 2.4 GHz, 8 GB of DDR4 ECC memory and two 146 GB 15K SAS drives into a single rack unit. Redundant 500 W hot-swap power supplies keep the platform running through a supply failure.

Expandable compute and storage base

The chassis accepts a second Xeon E5-2600 v3 or v4 processor to reach 36 total cores and offers 24 DIMM slots for up to 3 TB of DDR4-2400 registered memory. Eight SFF bays and the H240ar controller support RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SAS or SATA media.

Sustained workload behaviour

Dual redundant power and hot-swap drive bays let the server absorb component failures without downtime. The Matrox G200 graphics subsystem handles remote management consoles rather than compute tasks, so the CPU and memory subsystem remain fully available for continuous database or virtualisation workloads.
