Compact 1U Rack Server for Dense Workloads

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 fits a single Intel Xeon E5-2670 v3 processor with 12 cores at 2.3 GHz and 96 GB of DDR4 memory into a 1U chassis. Two 500 GB 7.2 K SATA drives connect to the B140i software RAID controller. Dual 500 W redundant power supplies are included.

Suited to Virtualisation Hosts and Database Nodes

Buyers who need a second CPU for 24 cores or more memory than 96 GB should evaluate larger configurations. The eight SFF bays accept only SATA media through the B140i controller. Workloads that require hardware RAID acceleration or SAS connectivity are not addressed by this unit.

B140i Software RAID with RAID 0/1/5/10

The onboard B140i controller manages the two installed SATA drives and any additional SATA disks using RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10. This specification determines whether the storage topology matches the application requirements.
