The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 packs a twelve-core Xeon E5-2670 v3 running at 2.3 GHz into a single rack unit. Four gigabytes of DDR4 ECC memory and two 600 GB 15K SAS drives provide a starting point for virtualisation or database tasks. Redundant 500 W hot-swap power supplies keep the platform running during module replacement.

Verify that your cabinet accommodates a 1U chassis and supplies two independent PDU circuits for the redundant supplies. The system board offers 24 DDR4 DIMM slots, twelve per processor, so plan additional registered ECC modules in matched sets to reach the desired capacity. The H240ar controller supports SAS and SATA drives across the eight SFF bays.

H240ar controller and dual drives enable RAID

The onboard Smart HBA H240ar delivers 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA connectivity with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.
