Before ordering

Verify that your rack can accommodate a 2U chassis and that the 8 SFF drive bays match your storage density plan; the system supports up to 24 DIMM slots across two processors but only 8 GB is installed. The H240ar controller handles 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA, so replacement or additional drives must use those interfaces. An optional universal media bay, NVMe bay kit or second 8-bay cage can be added later, but they are not included.

What the bundle changes

The two pre-installed 1 TB SAS drives give immediate mirrored or striped capacity without sourcing trays separately. Redundant power supplies remove the need for an external UPS for single-cord failure protection. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics chip provides basic console output, so no discrete GPU is required for remote management. No operating system is included, letting you install the hypervisor or OS of your choice.
