Dual 500W hot-swap power supplies keep the system running if one unit fails, and both can be replaced without downtime. The front panel holds 24 small-form-factor 2.5-inch drive bays connected to a Smart Array P440 controller with 4GB flash-backed write cache. Two 146GB 15K SAS drives are installed, and the controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for flexible data protection.
