The HPE MSA 2060 Gen6 is a flash-ready hybrid storage system built for small and remote office deployments. It delivers shared storage with a focus on simplicity and application acceleration. This 2U rackmount unit ships with twelve 2.4TB SAS hard drives pre-installed.

Capacity and headroom

The array provides 28.8TB of raw capacity from the factory-installed drives across 24 small form factor bays. Maximum raw capacity reaches 1.78 PB using only SFF drives or 2.71 PB when mixing SFF and LFF enclosures. Up to nine additional enclosures can be added for further expansion. Performance peaks at 395,000 IOPS for demanding workloads.

Integration and build fit

Dual 12Gb SAS 4-port controllers provide host connectivity and redundancy. Two 580W redundant power supplies are included for uptime assurance. Certified operating systems include Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016, VMware vSphere 6.7, Red Hat Linux 8 and SuSE SLES 15. The system measures 3.5 x 17.5 x 20.0 inches and weighs 11 lbs.
