Compact Micro ATX Case for Desk Builders

The JONSBO T7 fits Micro ATX and ITX boards inside an aluminium, steel and walnut chassis that measures 403 by 210 by 305 millimetres. A reversible handle and swappable right panel let the case sit on the left side of a desk with either glass or metal facing out. One 3.5-inch bay and two 2.5-inch bays handle storage, while four expansion slots support a graphics card up to 280 millimetres long. Front I/O includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, one USB 3.0 and a combined audio jack.

Airflow Limits Under Continuous Load

Two optional 120-millimetre front fans and one optional 120-millimetre rear fan are the only active cooling mounts provided. A front radiator up to 165 millimetres can be fitted, but the slim 210-millimetre width restricts how much fresh air reaches the GPU during long rendering or gaming sessions. The CPU cooler height limit of 165 millimetres rules out many tower coolers, so sustained turbo clocks may throttle unless low-profile or liquid cooling is chosen. Dust filters on the intake help maintain flow over time.

Installation Notes and Common Issues

The aluminium and steel panels add 5.85 kilograms of weight, so the handle is useful when positioning the case but offers no leverage for internal work. Cable routing space behind the motherboard tray is tight because of the narrow depth, and the ATX power supply limit of 220 millimetres leaves little room for non-modular cables. Builders often find the front fan mounts interfere with long GPU power connectors, and the single 3.5-inch bay requires an adapter bracket for 2.5-inch drives if three SSDs are desired.
