The MSI MAG A1250GL PCIE5 delivers 1250 W of continuous power for high-end desktop builds. It meets the ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 specifications and carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for up to 90% efficiency. A fully modular cable set lets you connect only the leads your system requires. The unit fits a compact 150 mm chassis depth.
Thermals noise and power draw
A single 135 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan handles cooling while the Gold-rated topology keeps waste heat low at typical loads. Active PFC corrects the power factor across the 100–240 V input range for stable draw. The dual +12 V rail design distributes current cleanly to the motherboard and graphics connectors. Efficiency above 85% reduces the thermal load inside the case during everyday use.
Sustained load behavior
Under prolonged demand the full-bridge LLC DC-to-DC conversion maintains tight regulation on the +12 V, 5 V and 3.3 V rails. The native 12V-2x6 connector can supply up to 600 W to a PCIe 5.1 graphics card without adapter cables. Protection circuits guard against over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit events during extended sessions. The 10-year manufacturer warranty period reflects the expected service life.
