LGA 1700 Micro ATX Motherboard
The MSI MAG B760M MORTAR WIFI II fits LGA 1700 processors from the 12th, 13th and 14th generations, plus Pentium Gold, Celeron and the 300 series. It uses the Intel B760 chipset on a Micro ATX PCB with a 12+1+1 Duet Rail power system and dual 8-pin CPU connectors. Four DDR5 slots support up to 192GB in dual-channel mode.
DDR5 Overclocking Focus
Builders who want high DDR5 frequencies will appreciate the board's validated speeds up to 7800+ MHz with one single-rank module. Users planning to fill all four slots should expect lower ceilings, dropping to 5600+ MHz with two dual-rank kits. Systems that only need JEDEC speeds or ECC memory should consider other platforms.
Three M.2 Slots and 2.5Gbps LAN
The primary M.2 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 from the CPU and accepts 2280, 2260 and 2242 drives. Two further chipset-linked slots add PCIe 4.0 x4 for 2280 and 2260 devices. A 2.5Gbps LAN port, Wi-Fi 6E with 160MHz channels and Bluetooth 5.3 handle networking. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10.
