16-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch

This unmanaged desktop switch provides sixteen RJ-45 ports running at 10/100/1000 Mbps with a 183 W PoE+ budget. It targets small offices and home networks that need to power wireless access points, IP cameras and VoIP phones over a single cable. The fanless metal chassis operates silently from 0 °C to 40 °C and meets NDAA compliance.

Build Integration — Power and Mounting

The unit accepts a 54 V, 3.7 A DC input rated at 200 W and can be upgraded to the full 183 W PoE budget with a separately purchased power supply module. Auto-MDI/MDIX removes the need for crossover cables while auto-negotiation sets the highest common speed on each link. Desktop, wall-mount and rack-mount options let the switch fit the available space without extra brackets.

PoE Automation and Indicators

Per-port LEDs show speed, link activity and PoE status while a dedicated PoE Max light warns when the total budget is reached. Netgear FlexPoE automatically balances power at the most granular level so each connected device receives only what it needs. The non-blocking architecture forwards jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes at wire speed with a 4 K MAC address table and 1 MB buffer.
