The Rosewill RSV-Z2900U is a new 2U rackmount server chassis built for environments that need high drive density in a compact form. It supports ATX, E-ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards up to 12 x 13 inches. Four internal 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch device slots provide room for six drives total. Seven low-profile expansion slots allow additional controller or networking cards.

Quiet cooling with three 80 mm PWM fans

Three 80 mm PWM fans are pre-installed in the middle chamber to direct airflow across drives and motherboard components. The fans run under pulse-width modulation so speed adjusts to thermal load, keeping acoustic output low during typical operation. Maximum CPU cooler height is 70 mm, limiting choices to low-profile heatsinks. The PS2 power supply bay accepts units up to 220 mm deep.

Front USB 3.0 and status LEDs simplify management

Two USB 3.0 ports on the front panel give direct access for diagnostics, backup media or installation media without reaching the rear. LED indicators show power status, hard-drive activity and LAN link state at a glance. Included screws and a quick-install guide let integrators start assembly immediately.
