Fanless aluminium chassis

The Streacom FC5S ALPHA OPT is a fanless PC case built from premium 6063 aluminium with a 10 mm thick CNC front panel. It supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and full ATX motherboards inside a 55 mm profile designed for silent media-centre builds.

Passive cooling limits

Heat is dissipated through the case structure itself, so thermal headroom depends entirely on the components installed and the ambient environment. A flexible riser is required for the single full-height expansion slot, and the design includes no front audio, FireWire, eSATA or card-reader ports.

Storage capacity and headroom

The chassis accommodates up to three 3.5" drives and six 2.5" drives depending on the internal layout chosen. Two USB 3.0 ports on the left and right sides use 19/20-pin headers for front-panel connectivity.
