The Supermicro SYS-112H-TN is a 1U rackmount system built for scale-out cloud workloads. It accepts a single Intel Xeon 6700 series processor with E-cores in an LGA-4710 socket. Sixteen DDR5 slots support up to 2TB of ECC RDIMM memory. Eight hot-swap 2.5-inch bays handle NVMe, SAS or SATA drives.
Sustained load with 330W air-cooled CPUs
The chassis supports processors up to 330W TDP using air cooling, allowing continuous high-throughput operation without liquid infrastructure. Sixteen DIMM slots run at 6400MT/s with one DIMM per channel or 5200MT/s with two per channel. PCIe 5.0 lanes feed the NVMe bays and two double-width add-in card slots for steady bandwidth under load.
PCIe 5.0 and OCP 3.0 networking limits
Two PCIe 5.0 expansion slots plus one AIOM slot compatible with OCP NIC 3.0 define the I/O ceiling. The eight drive bays share PCIe 5.0 NVMe connectivity, while RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 are available through the onboard controller. A dedicated 1GbE BMC port handles management traffic separate from data planes.
