The drive includes SLC caching, TRIM support, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring and advanced garbage collection to maintain consistent performance and extend service life. Upgrading from a hard drive or smaller SATA SSD

Replacing a mechanical hard drive with this drive eliminates moving parts and cuts boot and application load times significantly.
