The Ugreen DXP4800 GT is a four-bay desktop NAS built around an AMD Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor with eight threads and 8 GB of DDR4 memory. Two M.2 slots and four SATA bays allow a mix of NVMe cache and high-capacity hard drives.

Verify network and drive compatibility

Your router or switch must provide 10 GbE ports to use the dual 10 GbE links at full speed; slower links will fall back to lower rates. The four drive bays accept SATA hard drives up to 32 TB each, while the two M.2 slots take NVMe SSDs and bays one and two also support U.2 devices. The unit ships diskless, so you must supply all storage before first boot.

Sustained load behaviour and power draw

Under continuous drive access the system draws 42.36 W, dropping to 18.12 W when the drives enter hibernation. The AMD Ryzen Embedded CPU maintains steady throughput for long-running tasks such as 4K or 8K video editing, large file transfers and multiple concurrent virtual machines without the thermal throttling seen in short bursts. UGOS Pro manages Docker workloads and VM deployment across the eight threads for consistent performance.
