V-color 128GB DDR5 OC R-DIMM

This V-color kit delivers 128GB of DDR5 memory as four 32GB registered DIMMs. It is built for AMD TRX50 workstation motherboards and Threadripper PRO 7000 series processors. The modules use Hynix ICs on a 10-layer PCB with on-board PMIC. Desktop PCs and laptops cannot use these modules.

Sustained load with ECC registered design

The registered buffer and on-die ECC maintain data integrity during continuous heavy workloads. AMD EXPO profiles set 6000MHz at CL32 with 1.25V for stable operation. Dual 40-bit channels per DIMM provide consistent bandwidth without the errors that can accumulate in unbuffered memory under prolonged stress.

DDR5 interface practical limits

Each module runs two independent 40-bit channels that double DDR4 bandwidth at the same clock rate. The 288-pin DDR5 form factor fits only TRX50 workstation boards, not desktop or laptop sockets. Registered signalling adds one cycle of latency versus unbuffered DIMMs, a fixed constraint of the RDIMM standard.
