PCIe 4.0 x4 lane bandwidth ceiling

The drive operates on the PCIe 4.0 standard, so its peak throughput depends on a platform that can supply four lanes of generation 4 bandwidth. On older chipsets limited to PCIe 3.0 the same drive will still function but sequential speeds will drop to the older generation ceiling. The rated endurance is 500TB written over the drive life.
