Zalman T8 Mid-Tower Case

The Zalman T8 is a black ATX mid-tower chassis built from steel and plastic. It targets builders who want a standard motherboard footprint with a single 5.25-inch optical drive bay and front-panel RGB lighting. The case ships without a power supply and uses a top-mounted PSU layout. A side window is not included.

Build Integration and Airflow

The interior accepts ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX boards and provides seven expansion slots. Front-panel ports include two USB 2.0, one USB 3.0, audio jacks and a dedicated RGB control button. Cooling support allows two 120 or 140 millimetre fans at the front, one 120 millimetre fan at the rear and one 120 millimetre fan on the side panel. A 120 millimetre rear fan comes preinstalled. Dust filters help keep the interior clean.

Storage Capacity and Limits

Internal drive mounts comprise two 3.5-inch bays and four 2.5-inch bays alongside the single external 5.25-inch bay. This arrangement covers a basic SSD and hard drive combination plus an optical drive. Builders needing more than two 3.5-inch drives or additional 2.5-inch devices will run out of dedicated mounting points.
