It uses conventional magnetic recording and spins at 7200 RPM with a 512MB cache to sustain heavy multi-user workloads. The drive is rated for up to 180 TB per year and supports systems with up to eight bays.

SATA 6.0Gb/s interface fits standard NAS bays

The drive connects through a SATA 6.0Gb/s port and conforms to the 3.5-inch form factor measuring 147.00mm long, 101.60mm wide and 26.10mm high. It requires a NAS chassis with an available 3.5-inch bay and a SATA data plus power cable.
