Each 288-pin module seats in the standard DDR4 slots without tools, but the server manual dictates exact channel and slot order for quad-rank LRDIMMs. Mixing LRDIMMs with registered DIMMs is not supported; all installed modules must share the same ECC type. Speeds can be mixed, yet the system will clock down to the slowest module present.

Steady 1.20V operation under continuous load

The kit runs at 1.20V with CL17 latency, maintaining the rated 2400 MT/s throughput during sustained workloads such as virtualisation or database services.
