Compact LGA 1151 platform
The ASRock H310M-ITX/ac is a Mini-ITX motherboard built around the Intel H310 chipset for LGA 1151 (300 Series) processors. It accepts 8th Generation Intel Core CPUs and is not backward compatible with older LGA 1151 chips. The board targets small-form-factor builds that need integrated graphics and wireless connectivity in a tight footprint.

Turbo Boost 2.0 on supported CPUs operates within the board's power delivery envelope. A single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot and an M.2 socket supporting PCIe Gen2 x4 (20Gb/s) or SATA3 6.0Gb/s modules keep storage throughput steady without throttling under continuous I/O.
Build and daily connectivity
Four SATA3 6.0Gb/s ports handle multiple drives, though SATA3_0 is disabled if a SATA-type M.2 device occupies the M.2 slot. Rear I/O provides DVI-I, HDMI and DisplayPort 1.2 for up to three displays, with HDMI reaching 4096x2160 @ 30Hz and DisplayPort 1.2 up to 4096x2304 @ 60Hz. Intel I219-V Gigabit LAN and the bundled Intel 802.11 ac Wi-Fi module on a vertical M.2 Key E socket deliver wired and dual-band wireless networking. Realtek ALC887 audio supports 7.1-channel output when paired with a compatible front-panel module.
