Upgrade Path From Air Coolers

Moving from a tower air cooler becomes worthwhile when VRM and M.2 temperatures limit sustained boost clocks. The embedded 60 mm micro-fan inside the pump housing addresses that gap by directing airflow toward the socket area, lowering those zones by up to 20 °C compared with radiator-only designs.

Build Integration Requirements

The 394 mm radiator occupies three 120 mm fan slots, so the chassis must support a 360 mm mount. Three Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 2000 PWM fans are pre-installed and connect via standard 4-pin headers for FanXpert or motherboard control. The copper cold plate includes brackets for Intel LGA 2066, 2011-3, 2011, 1366 and 115x plus AMD AM4; a TR4 bracket is not included. Sleeved rubber tubes and pre-applied thermal compound simplify the installation.
