The 8 LFF chassis supports up to eight 3.5-inch drives and includes a PERC H730 SAS controller plus integrated Intel I350/X540 networking with two 10 GbE and two 1 GbE ports. Dual 495 W supplies and iDRAC8 Enterprise remote management complete a platform built for 24/7 operation.

Maximum memory capacity is 768 GB

The installed 512 GB leaves headroom for growth, but the board tops out at 768 GB across 24 DIMM slots using DDR4 RDIMMs or LRDIMMs. Buyers who need more than 768 GB must select a different server generation because this platform cannot address larger capacities.

Slide rails are optional
