The Eaton 5P850G is a line-interactive UPS rated at 850 VA and 600 W, designed to protect servers, VoIP phones, storage arrays and PoE switches in small business, education, retail and healthcare environments. It provides pure sine-wave output at 230 V by default, with selectable voltages of 200, 208, 220 or 240 V. Six IEC-320-C13 outlets supply protected power, while an IEC-320-C14 inlet connects to the mains. RS-232 and USB ports enable monitoring through the included Intelligent Power Software Suite.

Consistent output under sustained load

The unit delivers 20 percent more real wattage than traditional designs of the same VA rating, keeping the full 600 W available during extended outages rather than only in short bursts. Its input range spans 160 to 294 Vac and can be widened to 150 to 294 Vac, while auto-sensing handles both 50 Hz and 60 Hz sources. Data-line protection covers RJ-45 Ethernet and fax connections, guarding network paths alongside the power path.

Quiet operation within standard office limits

Weighing 22.8 lb and measuring 9.1 by 5.9 by 13.6 inches (H × W × D), the tower-form factor sits on a desk or shelf without rack-mount hardware. The line-interactive topology corrects most voltage fluctuations without engaging the battery, reducing wear and audible clicking. USB and RS-232 cables are supplied for immediate integration with management software.
