Transparent 2.5" SATA Enclosure

The Hannord 2.5-inch SATA to USB 3.0 enclosure turns a spare 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD into an external USB drive. It accepts drives between 7mm and 9.5mm thick up to a maximum capacity of 2TB. The transparent polycarbonate shell lets you see the installed drive at a glance. It works with Windows, Linux, Mac OS, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and smart TVs.

Tool-free installation with UASP

The enclosure uses a tool-free design so you can insert or remove a drive without screws or a screwdriver. It is hot-swappable and plug-and-play, requiring no driver installation on supported systems. An LED indicator shows power and activity status. UASP support is included, which can deliver up to 70% faster performance than standard USB 3.0 bulk endpoints when the host controller also supports UASP.

Sustained transfer up to 5 Gbps

The USB 3.0 interface provides a theoretical maximum transfer rate of 5 Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 ports. Actual sustained throughput depends on the installed SATA drive and the host system's USB implementation.
