This HP MB4000GDMTH is a 3.5-inch internal hard drive with 4 TB capacity, 7200 RPM spindle speed and a SATA 6 Gb/s interface. It ships new with zero hours and includes the HP Smart Carrier caddy tray for tool-less installation in compatible bays.
Suited for bulk storage in servers and workstations
The drive fits 3.5-inch hot-swap bays that accept the HP Smart Carrier tray, making it a direct replacement for part numbers 693720-001 and 693687-B21. Builders whose chassis uses fixed screw-mount trays or proprietary carrier systems will not be able to install this unit.
