The Matrox G200 graphics core draws negligible power, keeping the thermal budget focused on the processor and drive bays during sustained 7.2 K rpm spindle activity.

Build integration

Four LFF bays accept 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drives, and the H240ar presents them through RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 or 60 without consuming a PCIe slot. Twenty-four DDR4 slots — twelve per socket — remain largely open for future expansion to 3 TB, though the single-CPU configuration limits active channels to twelve.
