Four 3.5-inch 1 TB SAS drives connect through the Smart HBA H240ar controller with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 support. The platform targets virtualisation, database and file-serving roles where rack density matters.

With one CPU installed the server offers eight physical cores and sixteen threads via Hyper-Threading, while the chipset supports a second processor for up to thirty-six total cores.
