Redundant power supplies and hot-swap drive bays allow drive or PSU replacement without downtime, while the H240ar controller maintains RAID parity reconstruction in the background.

Upgrade from single-socket or Gen8

This server replaces single-socket rack units or earlier Gen8 models when core count, memory capacity and 12 Gb SAS throughput become bottlenecks.
