It accepts drives up to 9.5mm thick and maintains full SATA 6Gbps transfer rates without speed reduction. The black bracket matches the exact mounting-hole pattern of a 3.5" hard drive for secure fitment in desktop chassis or server trays.

Check bay width and drive height

Verify that your chassis provides a 3.5" SATA drive bay with the standard mounting-hole spacing shown in the product images. Ensure the 2.5" drive you intend to install does not exceed 9.5mm in height, as thicker drives will not fit the tray. Confirm your system uses SATA I, II or III interfaces; the bracket also supports SAS but provides no protocol conversion.
