Capacity & configuration
This kit delivers 1 TB of DDR5 memory in eight 128 GB registered DIMMs. Each module runs at 4800 MT/s with CL40 latency and operates at 1.1 V. The 4Rx4 organisation and ECC support are built for data-integrity workloads on the Dell Precision 7960 rack or tower workstation.
Suited workloads & limits
The kit targets professionals who need maximum registered ECC capacity for virtualisation, large datasets or scientific computing on the validated platform. It does not suit systems that require unbuffered UDIMMs, non-ECC memory, lower-density modules or a different DDR generation.
Build integration
The 288-pin RDIMMs plug directly into the workstation’s DDR5 slots and draw 1.1 V, leaving headroom for the platform’s power delivery. Registered signalling reduces electrical load on the memory controller, freeing it to manage the full 1 TB configuration without additional buffering hardware.
