The fans use rifle bearings and operate between 800 and 1500 RPM at 27.8 dBA.

Replaces single-fan purchases and basic hubs

Buyers upgrading from a single stock fan or a non-RGB hub gain synchronised colour control across up to eight fans and two LED strips through a 5V addressable motherboard header. The jump is worth it when a build needs more than three matching fans and the motherboard offers a compatible 5V header; the hub does not work with 12V RGB headers.

Limited to 5V addressable headers and Rosewill fans

The hub only accepts addressable 5V RGB motherboard headers and will not function with 12V RGB connectors. Fans must connect to the included hub or to the pre-installed hubs in the CULLINAN V500 RGB and PRISM S500 cases; direct motherboard connection is not supported. Expansion beyond the five included fans requires the matching Rosewill RGBF-S12002 120mm single fan.
