It connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface using NVMe 1.4 and is designed for read-intensive applications in data-centre environments. The V-NAND TLC memory and Elpis controller target consistent performance under sustained I/O.

Sequential reads reach up to 6700 MBps while sequential writes reach up to 4000 MBps. Random 4KB reads hit 1,100,000 IOPS and random 4KB writes hit 200,000 IOPS.
