Dual Xeon Gold 5118 1U server

The Supermicro SYS-6019U-TN4R4T is a 1U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 5118 processors running at 2.3 GHz with 12 cores each. It ships with 256 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory installed across eight 32 GB modules. The system targets virtualisation hosts, high-performance compute clusters and software-defined storage nodes that need dense compute in a single rack unit.

MegaRAID 9361-8i and quad 10GBase-T

An LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller provides eight internal SAS 12 Gb/s ports with 1 GB cache and battery backup, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the four hot-swap 3.5-inch drive bays. A dedicated AOC-UR-i4XT add-on card adds four 10GBase-T Ethernet ports based on the Intel X540 controller. IPMI 2.0 with a dedicated RJ45 management port enables remote KVM, virtual media and out-of-band monitoring without using the data network interfaces.

Verify rack depth and drive supply

The chassis uses the CSE-819UTS-R751P-T-X11DPU series and requires a rack deep enough for a 1U server with redundant 750 W platinum power supplies; front bezel and mounting rails are not included. Four 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drive trays are supplied but no drives are installed, so you must source compatible storage separately. The Matrox G200 graphics with 8 MB video memory only supports basic console output, not graphical workloads.
