It delivers sequential read speeds up to 550 MB/s and write speeds up to 500 MB/s for everyday computing workloads. The drive includes SLC caching, TRIM support, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring and advanced garbage collection to maintain consistent performance and extend service life. It is suited for desktops and laptops that require a high-capacity SATA storage upgrade.

Upgrading from a hard drive or smaller SATA SSD

Replacing a mechanical hard drive with this drive eliminates moving parts and cuts boot and application load times significantly. Moving up from a lower-capacity SATA SSD adds 2TB of space and a TBW rating of 1024TB without changing the interface or form factor.
