The Acumen Disc AD23-SDC copies one source SD or MicroSD card to 23 targets simultaneously at up to 33 MB/s. It operates standalone with a 20 x 2 LCD menu and requires no host computer or software installation. The unit accepts both full-size SD and MicroSD media in dedicated slots without adapters. It suits IT departments, forensic labs and media houses that need secure, high-throughput duplication.

Asynchronous Copy Limited by Card Speed

Each of the 23 channels reads from 128 MB of onboard buffer memory, so targets start and finish independently without waiting for the slowest card. Real-world throughput depends entirely on the media inserted; the controller peaks at 35 MB/s but sustained rates follow the slowest card in the batch. The 115–230 V AC supply runs at 50 or 60 Hz with no additional power hardware needed. Buyers who need to duplicate other form factors such as CFexpress or USB drives cannot use this unit.

Replaces Single-Slot Adapters and PC-Based Workflows

Moving from a single-slot reader or a software-driven PC tower eliminates the bottleneck of sequential copies and removes the host machine from the trusted-computing base. The jump is worth it when daily volume exceeds a few dozen cards or when DoD 5220.22-M 3-pass and 7-pass sanitisation is mandated. The duplicator also adds Quick Copy and Whole Media modes plus Auto, FAT and FAT32 formatting in one device. It does not address needs for network-attached duplication or logging databases.
