This Acumen Disc unit copies one source SATA drive to eleven targets at once. It accepts 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives or solid-state drives directly in its slot-load bays. No host computer is required because the four-button controller runs every function locally.

Replaces single-bay docks and software clones

A USB dock copies one drive at a time and relies on host software. This duplicator removes that bottleneck by writing to eleven targets simultaneously at up to 150 megabytes per second. The jump is worth it when you regularly image batches of drives for deployment, recovery or forensic work.

No capacity ceiling on SATA media

The duplicator copies the full bit-stream of any SATA hard drive or SSD regardless of total capacity. Quick-copy mode can duplicate only used sectors to save time, while sector-by-sector mode clones every block. Throughput tops out at the SATA I limit of 150 megabytes per second, so faster SATA II or III drives will not exceed that rate.
